Python Developer – Data Platform

About the role

Inetum is looking for a Python Developer to join the Dataquants team within the Python Competence Center. The role focuses on evolving the Domino Dataquants platform, ensuring high‑performance data processing and supporting the company’s data‑driven transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to solution and technical design aligned with standards and platform requirements.
• Support software architecture definition in collaboration with the architecture team.
• Write and maintain technical documentation.
• Provide Python expertise for issue resolution, code optimisation, performance improvements and library recommendations.
• Mentor developers, share best practices and guide technical decisions.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, manage sprint planning and execution, and participate in tribe‑level ceremonies.
• Support the Product Owner on delivery topics, ensure effective communication, and promote a collaborative team culture.

Required profile

• Strong experience in enterprise software development, including version control (Git, GitLab) and unit testing.
• Expert‑level proficiency with Python 3.9+ and its ecosystem (Anaconda, Jupyter, VS Code).
• Deep knowledge of computational libraries such as NumPy and Pandas.
• Expertise in performance optimisation and parallelisation (Dask, Spark, GPU optimisation, CUDA, CuPy).
• Experience industrialising Python code with standards, design patterns, TDD and clean‑code practices.
