Purchasing Agent

About the role

H.B. Fuller Portugal is looking for a Purchasing Agent to support the procurement of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods. The role ensures continuous supply for production, maintains accurate SAP data, and works closely with planning, sourcing, warehouse, and supply‑chain teams.

Key responsibilities

• Procure materials according to production plans and forecasts.
• Monitor inventory and safety‑stock levels to guarantee material availability.
• Maintain accurate material and supplier records in SAP.
• Analyze demand, inventory, and procurement performance data.
• Support supplier negotiations, manage pricing information, and handle claims or corrective actions.
• Collaborate with sourcing, planning, and warehouse teams on process improvements.

Required profile

• Vocational training or degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing or procurement.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and French; German is a plus.
• Experience using SAP in a manufacturing or supply‑chain environment.
