Project Manager for Technology Management

About the role

Nordex is seeking a Project Manager for Technology Management to lead large‑scale technical projects in the wind‑energy sector. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, ensure projects meet budget and quality targets, and act as the primary liaison with customers and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Execute complex technical projects while adhering to budget, schedule, and quality goals.
• Form and lead multidisciplinary teams from engineering, claim management, spare parts, production, and global service.
• Drive root‑cause analysis (8D) and implement 6‑sigma solutions with internal and external partners.
• Provide technical support to improve claims handling and supplier interactions.
• Maintain project transparency, cost‑effectiveness, and risk mitigation.
• Report progress monthly using Nordex processes and ensure smooth hand‑over to service teams.
• Represent Nordex to clients and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven project‑management experience, preferably in wind‑energy turnkey projects.
• Several years in comparable roles with leadership responsibilities.
• Familiarity with 8D and 6‑sigma methodologies.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, especially with customers and suppliers.
• Ability to work across different business cultures and travel occasionally.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
