Project Manager - Finance

About the role

Blip is seeking a Project Manager to support the Finance Strategy & Transformation Manager and the Associate Finance Director. The role will coordinate finance‑focused projects, drive reporting optimisation, and help standardise processes across the Porto Finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and track delivery of finance strategy and transformation initiatives.
• Manage timelines, milestones and work‑plans for multiple concurrent projects.
• Define scope, ownership and delivery dates for ad‑hoc projects.
• Monitor progress, flag risks, and escalate blockers to senior stakeholders.
• Prepare concise status reports for the Finance Director and senior leadership.
• Liaise with Finance Business Partners, reporting teams and other finance functions to ensure alignment.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and improve finance processes.
• Document processes, project outcomes and lessons learned.

Required profile

• 1 to 3 years of experience in project management or coordination, preferably in a finance or professional services environment.
• Strong organisational skills and a structured approach to project delivery.
• Interest in finance transformation and continuous improvement.
