Project Leader - Heat Pump Development

About the role

Bosch Aveiro hosts a large production site for the Bosch Home Comfort division and a Research and Development Centre for residential heating solutions. As Project Leader - Heat Pump Development, you will lead complex product development projects from concept to market, bringing together technical teams, stakeholders and project requirements. The role sits within a cross-functional product development team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead heat pump development projects from requirements definition through development, validation, product launch and market handover
• Apply the Time-to-Market (TTM) process throughout the product development lifecycle
• Lead and coordinate international, cross-functional project teams toward common goals
• Plan, monitor and report on project scope, milestones, resources and performance
• Manage project budgets and product costs with transparency
• Coordinate with related projects and internal and external stakeholders
• Identify risks early and drive proactive mitigation measures
• Support decision-making by making priorities, risks and project status transparent

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical field
• Experience leading complex product development or engineering projects across the full lifecycle
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary, cross-functional teams in an international environment
• Experience with product development phases from requirements and planning through validation, launch and handover
• Very good written and spoken English

Required skills

• Project management methods and tools: planning, risk management, stakeholder management, budget management and reporting
• Good technical understanding to discuss technical topics and support project decisions
• Knowledge of TTM or comparable product development processes is an advantage
• PMP or a comparable project management certification is a plus
