Hardware Developer

About the role

Bosch Service Solutions in Lisbon develops and offers Customer Experience, Mobility and Monitoring solutions for its clients, and provides engineering and software development services. It is looking for a Hardware Developer to join its team and contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge electronics.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and test electronic hardware solutions.
• Document solution directions and designs, with a special focus on safety-related components.
• Identify opportunities for process and product improvements and drive their implementation.
• Select components, create schematics (including simulations) and review PCB layouts.
• Conduct verification and integration testing.
• Support and troubleshoot issues during EMC testing.
• Take an active part in all design-related activities.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience as a hardware engineer.
• Knowledge of EMC testing and troubleshooting.
• Portuguese and English, written and spoken.

Required skills

• Analog or mixed-signal hardware design, power electronics and display technologies.
• Schematic design, PCB layout reviews and circuit simulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, quality and cost awareness, and a proactive, collaborative approach.
