Production System & Data Analytics Internship

About the role

Join Bosch's Aveiro production site as an extracurricular intern, supporting the implementation and development of the Bosch Production System (BPS) and data‑driven initiatives. You will work closely with shop‑floor teams, contribute to continuous improvement projects and help integrate AI and automation into the S/4 HANA environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation and development of BPS principles and standards across the manufacturing area.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) and Kaizen activities to enhance safety, quality, cost and delivery.
• Analyse the current physical process, align it with the S/4 HANA system and identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist in the implementation of AI solutions for the S/4 HANA platform.
• Identify and structure automation of manual steps within the system.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Mechanical Engineering, Management or a related field.
• Experience in data analytics and continuous improvement.
• Good communication skills in English and Portuguese, both written and spoken.
• Structured and analytical approach to problem‑solving.
• Interest in working close to the shop‑floor and operational processes.
