Production Planner

About the role

Haleon is seeking a Production Planner to manage production and inventory for assigned product lines. The role ensures high service levels, product availability, and inventory within approved investment targets while balancing plant resources and capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and analyze finished‑goods forecasts and inventory levels, incorporate them into the Master Production Schedule (MPS), and balance demand with production loading.
• Act as liaison between external customers and internal teams at the Guayama site, leading discussions in Pre‑S&OP and S&OP meetings for assigned SKUs.
• Develop capacity analyses as part of the MPS process to optimize work‑center resources.
• Monitor product performance against key indicators and coordinate continuous‑improvement projects.
• Support Operations Tier 2 and Supply Chain Tier 1 meetings, and prepare monthly service‑level, backorder, and inventory reports.
• Prepare detailed weekly production plans that align with the MPS and inventory expectations.
• Identify improvement opportunities, lead implementation projects, and monitor schedule adherence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Science.
• Relevant coursework, workshops, or seminars in Materials Management.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing material management.
