Product Data Analyst

About the role

Salsify is seeking a Product Data Analyst to help its R&D organization turn data into actionable insights. You will partner with product, engineering, UX and other stakeholders to define metrics, build data products and drive measurable impact across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Define, maintain and report on KPIs that reflect the health and performance of R&D initiatives.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers and UX teams to translate goals into measurable outcomes.
• Write SQL queries, model datasets and create reporting solutions that enable data‑driven decision making.
• Identify recurring data requests and develop reusable data products.
• Work with the Data Platform team to source new data or modify pipelines when needed.
• Partner with Customer Success, Sales, Support and Finance to extend R&D insights throughout the organization.

• Experience working with cross‑functional teams to define and measure outcomes.
• Ability to treat data as a product and prioritize solutions based on impact.
• Excellent communication skills to convey findings to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
