Procurement Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Coordinator to support our Asset Management Project within the pharmaceutical and medical‑device sectors. The role combines hands‑on purchasing activities with supplier relationship management to ensure timely and cost‑effective delivery of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Create, manage and follow up on purchase orders (POs) aligned with project requirements.
• Generate and process requisitions according to company procedures and project timelines.
• Identify, evaluate and qualify potential suppliers for required products and services.
• Lead negotiations to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms and optimal delivery schedules.
• Maintain supplier relationships and act as the primary point of contact for procurement matters.
• Coordinate with project managers, finance, operations and technical teams to address procurement needs.
• Track PO status, expedite deliveries, monitor budgets and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Support contract administration, supplier performance evaluations and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Prepare procurement reports, supplier metrics and status updates for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in procurement, purchasing or sourcing within the pharmaceutical or medical‑device industry.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English with strong communication skills.
