Pharmacy Customer Service Associate (Certified)

About the role

This position supports the pharmacy team by delivering a friendly, efficient checkout experience while assisting the pharmacist with prescription processing and inventory tasks. The associate works at the front‑line, ensuring customers receive courteous service and that pharmacy operations run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, and resolve issues to create a positive experience.
• Operate the cash register, handle cash, process returns, voids, refunds, and exchanges.
• Assist the pharmacist with entering patient and drug information into pharmacy systems, filling prescriptions, and checking for interactions.
• Maintain clean, well‑stocked counters and shelves; perform inventory checks and merchandising.
• Handle non‑clinical phone calls, process manual claims for third‑party prescription programs, and support inventory management activities.

Required profile

• Ability to work under direct supervision of a pharmacist and follow state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adhere to company policies, including Good Faith Dispensing and the Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
