Analytical Chemist – Laboratory Testing

About the role

The Chemist will perform analytical testing and laboratory activities to support quality, compliance, and operational objectives within a regulated environment. This position requires hands‑on experience with chromatography and a range of analytical instruments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform chemical and analytical testing of samples according to established procedures and specifications.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical equipment such as HPLC, UV, and IR spectrophotometers.
• Execute analytical methods, interpret results, and use chromatography data systems (Empower) for data acquisition and reporting.
• Support laboratory investigations, method execution, and problem‑solving activities.
• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and ensure data integrity.
• Follow pharmacopeial standards (USP, EP) and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.
• 3–5 years of relevant laboratory experience in a regulated setting.
• Hands‑on experience with HPLC, UV and IR spectrophotometry.
• Working knowledge of chromatography principles and pharmacopeial requirements (USP, EP).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
