Performance Marketing Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Performance Marketing Manager to own and scale paid acquisition in a fast‑growing ecommerce environment based in Portugal. You will lead the evolution of paid media operations, manage external agencies, and build the foundation for future in‑house capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute paid media strategy across Google Ads, Meta Ads and emerging channels.
• Manage external agencies, set performance expectations and drive accountability.
• Transition selected activities from agency‑led to internal ownership.
• Optimize campaigns – targeting, bidding, creative testing, conversion tracking.
• Oversee Google Search, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube and Meta prospecting/retargeting initiatives.
• Explore new acquisition opportunities such as affiliate marketing, influencer partnerships, Reddit and LinkedIn.
• Establish measurement frameworks, reporting dashboards and KPI tracking (ROI, revenue contribution, CAC).
• Collaborate with merchandising, lifecycle, creative and sales teams to align paid media with commercial goals.

Required profile

• Data‑driven performance marketing professional with proven ecommerce growth experience.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to make revenue‑focused decisions.
• Experience managing agencies and leading cross‑functional projects.
• Comfortable with experimentation, hypothesis testing and scaling successful initiatives.
