People Advisory Consultant – Mobility Services

About the role

We are seeking an experienced People Advisory Consultant to join EY’s Tax People Advisory Services – Mobility team in Lisbon. The role supports multinational clients and internationally mobile employees with global mobility tax, social security and immigration matters, delivering compliant and practical solutions in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of global mobility tax and social security compliance engagements.
• Prepare and review personal income tax returns for internationally mobile employees.
• Assist advisory projects on expatriation, impatriation, cross‑border remote work and international assignments.
• Perform tax and social security analyses to identify mobility‑related risks and obligations.
• Coordinate across jurisdictions with EY international teams as part of global engagements.
• Collect, analyse and organise employee data related to mobility programmes.
• Prepare client communications, technical memoranda, reports and presentations.
• Ensure accuracy, quality and timeliness of deliverables in line with EY methodologies and professional standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Economics, Management, Law or a related field.
• Up to 3 years of professional experience in tax, preferably personal income tax, global mobility or international taxation.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Good written and verbal communication in English.
• Motivation, responsibility and a client‑focused mindset.
