Optimisation Manager

About the role

VML, part of WPP, is seeking an Optimisation Manager to lead daily, high‑velocity site optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives. Reporting to the Optimisation Lead, you will operate at the intersection of data, technology and execution, turning real‑time trading insights into measurable business growth for global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the weekly site optimisation and Rapid Iteration & Optimisation (RIO) roadmap, ensuring rapid deployment and defect‑free delivery of experiments and content updates.
• Build, launch and monitor A/B tests, multivariate tests and personalisation campaigns to boost conversion rates and trading performance.
• Collaborate daily with copywriters, designers, developers and the Paid Media team to coordinate asset production and ensure swift execution of updates.
• Monitor real‑time analytics to detect performance drops, bugs or immediate conversion opportunities.
• Synthesize test results and performance data into actionable insights for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret real‑time data and make quick decisions.
• Detail‑oriented approach to quality assurance and experiment execution.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work across Paid Media, CX and Development teams.
• Proactive attitude toward continuous improvement and rapid iteration.

Required skills

• Experience with A/B testing and multivariate testing platforms.
• Familiarity with site optimisation frameworks and rapid deployment processes.
• Ability to work with real‑time analytics tools and dashboards.
