Operations & Logistics Specialist – Driver & Warehouse Operator

About the role

We are seeking an Operations & Logistics Specialist to join our team at World Courier, part of the Cencora family. The role combines driver duties, warehouse handling and coordination of import‑export shipments, ensuring time‑critical and temperature‑sensitive products reach their destination safely.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments using internal transportation systems.
• Plan routes, schedule pickups and deliveries, and oversee execution to meet on‑time delivery targets.
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation, labels and customs paperwork, including cold‑chain requirements.
• Handle, package and load shipments, maintaining temperature‑controlled conditions where required.
• Manage warehouse inventory, packaging materials and temperature‑control supplies.
• Communicate shipment status to customers, carriers and internal teams, escalating issues as needed.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and transportation regulations such as IATA, ADR and GDP.
• Operate company vehicles for collection and delivery tasks and maintain accurate operational records.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse operations or supply‑chain environments.
• Valid driver’s licence; forklift certification is a plus.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Customer‑focused mindset with clear communication skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
