Oncology Sales Specialist

About the role

The Oncology Sales Specialist will drive marketing programs and achieve sales targets across the entire island of Puerto Rico. You will act as the primary liaison between the company and healthcare professionals, promoting oncology products while adhering to ethical business practices.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with physicians and administrative staff to influence product usage and prescription.
• Deliver product presentations and value‑based discussions aligned with approved labeling.
• Develop and execute comprehensive account plans, identifying business opportunities and monitoring KPIs.
• Gather market intelligence, analyze trends, and provide customer insights to improve offerings.
• Organize and lead Field Facilitated Meetings (FFM) and Speaker Facilitated Meetings (SFM) within the territory.
• Prepare and submit regular sales and promotional activity reports.
• Travel throughout Puerto Rico as needed, maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).
• At least five years of pharmaceutical sales experience, including two years in oncology.
• Strong understanding of the local healthcare environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company‑provided vehicle.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Experience using VEEVA.
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Ability to work with Power BI.
• Familiarity with iPad‑based sales tools.
