Observability Engineer

About the role

HAVI TechHUB is looking for an Observability Engineer to join its Lisbon team. You will design, implement, and evolve enterprise‑wide observability capabilities that make system health, performance, and reliability visible and actionable.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting frameworks for global platforms and services.
• Enable SRE, Platform Engineering, and Application Development teams to detect, diagnose, and prevent issues proactively.
• Ensure observability data is measurable, reliable, and supports data‑driven performance improvements.
• Collaborate with cross‑regional teams to align observability standards and practices.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in monitoring, observability, or SRE‑related roles.
• Proven experience implementing enterprise‑level logging and metrics platforms.
• Background supporting cloud‑native or distributed systems environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience working in global or cross‑regional teams is a plus.
