NMO Programmes Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Project Manager to lead the National Member Organisation (NMO) support programmes for an international non-profit dedicated to primary immunodeficiency patients. Based in Estoril, Portugal, you will work closely with our Executive Director and a small, enthusiastic team to enhance communication, training and advocacy activities across our global membership.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for all NMO inquiries and ensure effective communication between IPOPI, its Board regional representatives and member organisations.
• Plan, implement and monitor NMO support initiatives such as training programmes, membership meetings, workshops, awareness campaigns and related surveys.
• Coordinate national and regional meetings in partnership with the events team, and support global events like the Global Patients Meeting and Annual General Meeting.
• Assist in establishing new national member organisations in priority regions and provide policy and advocacy support on selected projects.
• Prepare activity and survey reports, and contribute to communications and research programmes as needed.

Required profile

• University degree.
• Fluent English; additional languages such as Spanish are a plus.
• 3-4 years of project-management experience in an international environment.
• Strong organisational, planning and multitasking abilities, with a proven capacity to work independently.
• Team-player attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
