Mid-level Linux System Administrator (Hybrid)

About the role

KCS IT is seeking a motivated mid‑level Linux System Administrator to join our hybrid team. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving production Linux environments for a variety of clients, ensuring high availability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support Linux servers in production, handling incidents and routine maintenance.
• Configure and maintain application servers such as Apache, NGINX, Tomcat, and HAProxy.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Ansible.
• Develop and maintain Bash and/or Python scripts for operational tasks.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes promptly.
• Collaborate with teams on CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud deployments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience managing Linux systems in production.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
• Ability to work independently and manage services without supervision.
