Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

As a Mechanical Design Engineer at ACE Development & Engineering, you will be responsible for designing and configuring machines or machine components under the guidance of a Lead Engineer. You will translate customer requirements into concrete, manufacturable solutions while maintaining high quality and adhering to project timelines and budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed mechanical designs for new machines and parts, as well as improve existing products.
• Create and validate 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings using CAD tools.
• Prepare technical documentation required for production release, including specifications and Bill of Materials.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure designs meet functional, cost, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in design reviews, testing, and iterative problem‑solving to achieve optimal performance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–4 years of proven experience in mechanical product or component development.
• Strong ability to interpret customer requirements and convert them into detailed designs.
• Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a passion for continuous learning and technology.

Required skills

• Mechanical design and technical drawing.
• Proficient use of CAD software, preferably Siemens NX.
• Experience with TeamCenter product data management.
• Solid understanding of quality standards and design for manufacturability.
