Manufacturing Clerk – Administrative Support for Production

About the role

The Manufacturing Clerk (or Assistant) provides essential administrative and operational support to the manufacturing area. Acting as a bridge between production supervisors and the Human Resources team, the role ensures smooth processes related to personnel management, attendance, scheduling, performance tracking, training, and employee recognition.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and record staff absences using internal systems such as iObeya and Kronos.
• Coordinate corrective actions and disciplinary follow‑up with supervisors, in consultation with HR.
• Collect quarterly performance metrics and prepare reports for supervisory meetings.
• Assist in planning and executing employee recognition programs, including monthly nominations and quarterly critical‑behavior selections.
• Support Tier 1 and Tier 2 initiatives, temporary worker requests, and logistics for events such as retreats, birthdays, and plant meetings.
• Prepare agendas, minutes, and follow‑up actions for round‑table meetings and serve as the primary contact for departmental meeting logistics.
• Perform additional related tasks as required.

Required profile

• High school diploma in Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational attention to detail, effective communication, and teamwork orientation.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Ability to work under pressure, proactive problem‑solving, and internal customer focus.
