Machine Learning Engineer – Real‑World AI Systems

About the role

ITRex is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join its large‑scale live‑streaming and social interaction platform. The role involves end‑to‑end ownership of ML initiatives that power dating, communication, video chat, and live broadcast features used by millions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for predictive analytics, classification, NLP, and other data‑driven tasks.
• Build and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training.
• Containerize ML models using Docker and deploy them in cloud environments such as AWS or Snowflake.
• Optimize model performance, latency, and resource usage for real‑time or batch inference.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve models in production to ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, data, DevOps, and business stakeholders to define requirements and integrate ML solutions.
• Evaluate models rigorously using appropriate metrics and assess fairness.
• Determine when machine learning is the right approach versus rule‑based or statistical methods.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years as an ML Engineer.
• Strong understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning fundamentals, and NLP techniques.
• Proven ability to take ML projects from concept through production and post‑deployment optimization.
