Linux System Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a Linux System Administrator to join our Portuguese organisation that delivers secure printing, digital services and technology‑driven solutions for public and private sectors. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving critical Linux‑based infrastructure that supports citizen services, identity management and digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Advanced administration and troubleshooting of Linux servers.
• Design, deployment and management of Docker containers.
• Automation and configuration management using Ansible.
• Development and maintenance of Bash scripts.
• Administration of VMware ESXi environments.
• Management and renewal of SSL/TLS certificates.
• Administration and support of PostgreSQL databases.
• Administration of Apache web servers.
• Intermediate network and communications tasks.
• Support for WildFly, JBoss and Tomcat application servers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Linux system administration.
• Hands‑on experience with containerisation, automation and virtualization technologies.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a dynamic, young team.
