Legal Counsel – EMEA M&A

About the role

Join IQVIA’s high‑performing international legal team as a Legal Counsel focused on EMEA M&A. You will work on cross‑border transactions in the healthcare and life‑sciences sector, supporting the Assistant General Counsel, EMEA M&A and Integration, while enjoying autonomy over your own projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end legal advice on M&A, joint ventures, investments, reorganisations and other corporate transactions across the EMEA region.
• Draft and review diligence materials, transaction documentation and regulatory filings.
• Identify legal risks early and propose mitigation strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Drive the adoption of new M&A templates, standardise documentation and lead process‑improvement initiatives.
• Support integration activities, offering guidance to business and legal teams.
• Manage external counsel efficiently when required.
• Promote innovative legal‑operations practices, including AI‑enabled tools and playbook development.

Required profile

• Law degree (LL.B, J.D. or equivalent) with an active licence to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum of six years of experience handling corporate transactions, preferably in M&A or related fields.
• Proven ability to work independently and influence senior leadership.
