Legal Counsel EMEA M&A

About the role

Join IQVIA’s high‑performing international legal team as a Legal Counsel focused on EMEA M&A. You will work on high‑impact, cross‑border transactions in the healthcare and life‑sciences sector, supporting the Assistant General Counsel, EMEA M&A and Integration while managing your own portfolio of M&A, investment and restructuring projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑level legal advice throughout the lifecycle of M&A, joint‑venture, investment and internal reorganisation transactions.
• Deliver business‑oriented counsel on diligence, documentation and regulatory filings.
• Identify potential legal risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with Corporate Development and other internal stakeholders to drive decision‑making.
• Adapt, drive and implement new M&A templates, standardise documentation and lead improvement initiatives.
• Support integration processes and manage external counsel efficiently.
• Promote forward‑thinking legal operations, including AI‑enabled process improvements and template/playbook creation.
• Develop and disseminate legal training, best‑practice guides and know‑how across the business.

Required profile

• Law degree (LLB, JD or equivalent) with an active licence to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in corporate/M&A law, preferably within the healthcare or life‑sciences industry.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and manage complex, multi‑jurisdictional transactions.
