About the role
Emma – The Sleep Company is looking for a proactive Key Account Manager to drive growth of its Portuguese market. You will be responsible for expanding existing client relationships, introducing new product lines and ensuring profitable sales performance.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and grow key accounts in Portugal, increasing revenue through upselling and optimized pricing.
- Develop long‑term relationships with clients, understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Visit client stores, train sales floor staff and oversee point‑of‑sale material.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring smooth project implementation.
- Report on account performance, identify pain points, seize new opportunities and adjust forecasts.
- Negotiate contracts and create promotional plans, monitoring their execution and results.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.
Required profile
- 3‑5 years of account management or sales experience with a proven record of revenue growth.
- Strong relationship‑building skills and a commercial mindset.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English; additional EU languages are a plus.
- Hands‑on, comfortable visiting clients and training teams.
- Results‑oriented, organized and able to adapt strategies to meet targets.
- Valid driving licence.
