Junior Service Technician – Transformers Service

About the role

We are expanding our Service team in Perafita, Portugal and are looking for a Junior Service Technician to support transformer installations, maintenance, repairs and upgrades on‑site and in the workshop. The role involves applying technical drawings and manuals to ensure safe and reliable equipment performance while working closely with customers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and update equipment data using a database tool for customer sites.
• Perform maintenance, repair, and installation of power equipment and accessories both in the workshop and on‑site.
• Adapt and install accessories and systems, providing technical support for installed products.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve faults, deciding when upgrades or replacements are needed.
• Deliver on‑site training to customer support teams.

Required profile

• Minimum high school or technical education; junior profile eager to learn.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to work outdoors.
• Fluent written and spoken Portuguese; basic English is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and team spirit.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows environment, including MS Server and MS Office.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Basic troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for power equipment.
