Junior PV Officer

About the role

Ergomed’s PrimeVigilance team is looking for a Junior PV Officer to support pharmacovigilance activities for global clients. You will work within the ICSR management unit, ensuring safety reports are processed accurately and on time while contributing to patient safety initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Process Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) from all sources in compliance with regulations, PrimeVigilance procedures and client timelines.
• Perform follow‑up activities, including SAE/SUSAR management, clinical trial reconciliation and protocol review.
• Handle product quality complaints, interact with Quality Assurance and Medical Information teams.
• Generate database outputs and monthly reports for clients.
• Mentor and train newer team members and support workflow and resource management.

Required profile

• Life‑science or biomedical degree (e.g., chemistry, biology, biotechnology, veterinary science).
• Demonstrated experience in pharmacovigilance case processing.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Strong organizational, planning and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• MedDRA coding expertise.
• WHO coding knowledge.
