Senior Director of ICSR

About the role

The Senior Director of ICSR leads the ICSR Management Unit, ensuring that all unit activities are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards. This role combines strategic oversight, resource optimisation and close collaboration with other departments to support the company’s patient‑safety mission.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the ICSR Management Unit, allocating resources to maximise productivity and utilisation.
• Set and review productivity targets for ongoing projects, adjusting allocations based on performance data.
• Oversee Associate Directors and staff, ensuring effective utilisation and reallocation as needed.
• Review budgets, resource allocations and new project scopes, supporting Directors of Projects.
• Collaborate with Business/Commercial, Operations and Project Analytics teams on contracts, proposals and analytics.
• Assist HR with recruitment, performance evaluation, promotion and retention activities.
• Review and approve Critical CAPAs, respond to Quality department requests, and update operating procedures.

Required profile

• Life‑science graduate (pharmacy, nursing or related) with extensive pharmacovigilance case‑processing experience, including post‑marketing and clinical data.
• Demonstrated senior‑level leadership in a pharmacovigilance or ICSR environment.
• Strong communication, organisational and management abilities, with a focus on delegation and issue resolution.
