Junior Linux System Administrator (Hybrid)

About the role

KCS IT is looking for a motivated Junior Linux System Administrator to join our team on a hybrid basis (2 days onsite per week). You will work in production environments, supporting a variety of clients and technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot Linux servers in production.
• Configure and manage application servers such as Apache, NGINX, Tomcat and HAProxy.
• Write and maintain automation scripts using Bash and/or Python.
• Assist with networking, system monitoring, and logging solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support client projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• At least 1.5 years of professional experience working with Linux as a primary responsibility.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
