Junior IT Recruiter

About the role

Aubay Portugal is seeking a motivated Junior IT Recruiter to join its talent acquisition team. You will be responsible for sourcing, engaging, and hiring top‑tech talent for a variety of roles across our client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Drive end‑to‑end recruitment for technical positions such as developers, engineers, DevOps, testers, data specialists, business analysts and mobile experts.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, team dynamics and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
• Source candidates using LinkedIn and other platforms, conduct interviews and assess both technical competence and cultural fit.
• Provide a seamless candidate experience, delivering timely feedback and keeping candidates informed.
• Stay updated on technology trends and recruitment best practices to continuously improve sourcing methods.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Communication, Management or a related field.
• At least 1 year of recruitment experience, preferably with exposure to IT or technology profiles.
• Strong curiosity about the tech sector and eagerness to learn new roles and market trends.
• Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English.
• Proactive, goal‑oriented attitude and ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously.
