Junior IT Engineer

About the role

Join Crossjoin Solutions as a Junior IT Engineer and become part of a global consulting team delivering high‑impact projects across banking, insurance, healthcare, telecom and financial services. You will work alongside experienced engineers to design, implement and optimise complex IT ecosystems while developing your technical and soft skills through an intensive Academy program.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and optimise client IT environments, identifying gaps, risks and performance bottlenecks.
• Implement and integrate enterprise solutions such as Oracle, OutSystems, micro‑services, cloud platforms and observability tools.
• Support Performance Acceptance Tests (PAT) and other quality‑assurance frameworks.
• Develop automation and observability use cases to improve system dependability and operational visibility.
• Collaborate with Delivery Managers and Competence Centers to align solutions with project goals and client expectations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• No professional experience required – entry‑level candidates are welcome.
• Strong analytical mindset, goal‑oriented and resilient.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel and participate in the Academy training program.

Required skills

• Programming languages: Java, C, C++, Python, SQL.
• Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, Oracle.
• Technologies: OutSystems, micro‑services, cloud platforms, observability platforms, automation, AI‑based process optimisation, BI, OLAP, ETL, Data Warehouse.
