Junior General Ledger Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Junior General Ledger Accountant to join our international finance team. The position offers hands‑on experience with general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and master data management in a multinational environment. This is an ideal role for an early‑career finance professional eager to develop accounting expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities, prepare and post journal entries in line with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and ensure records are accurate and compliant.
• Assist internal and external audit requests.
• Process supplier invoices and customer payments, reconcile vendor and customer accounts, and resolve billing issues.
• Monitor outstanding balances, support collection activities and contribute to AP/AR closing tasks.
• Create, maintain and update customer and vendor master data in the ERP system, validate requests and conduct regular data‑quality checks.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, customers and suppliers on finance‑related queries and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Up to 2 years of experience in general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable or finance operations.
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Fluency in English; French is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, international environment.
