Junior Customer Category Development Manager

About the role

As a Junior Customer Category Development Manager you will be the primary contact within Trade Marketing for an assigned channel and category, driving growth and ensuring flawless execution. Working in a fast‑moving FMCG environment you will partner with Sales and Marketing to translate brand strategies into compelling in‑store and online activations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Trade Marketing plan aligned with brand and customer business objectives.
• Collaborate with Sales to design and launch customer‑focused activations across impulse channels and e‑commerce.
• Manage end‑to‑end creation and deployment of POS materials and in‑store activations.
• Analyse sell‑out data to identify trends, risks and growth opportunities, and present ROI and market‑share insights.
• Design and monitor customer loyalty programmes and secondary placements.
• Continuously identify gaps and propose improvements to capture untapped category potential.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Initial experience in trade‑marketing or a similar role, preferably within FMCG.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable recommendations.
• Proactive, results‑driven and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, matrix environment.
