Junior Customer Category Development Manager

About the role

As a Junior Customer Category Development Manager you will be the primary contact for a specific channel and category within Trade Marketing. You will work closely with Sales and Marketing to create and execute plans that bring brands to life both in‑store and online, while contributing to the overall trade‑marketing strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Trade Marketing plan aligned with brand strategy and customer business plans.
• Collaborate with Sales to translate strategies into customer activations across channels, including impulse marketing and e‑commerce initiatives.
• Manage end‑to‑end POS material production and in‑store activations to ensure strong visibility.
• Conduct sell‑out analysis, identify trends, risks and growth opportunities, and quantify uplift, ROI and market‑share impact.
• Support the design of customer loyalty programmes and monitor secondary placements.
• Identify gaps and propose improvements to capture untapped category potential.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Initial experience in trade‑marketing or a similar FMCG role.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Proactive, results‑driven and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, matrix environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
