Junior Application Support (Hybrid, Lisbon)

About the role

KCS IT is seeking a motivated Junior Application Support professional to join our hybrid team in Lisbon. You will assist clients across various sectors by troubleshooting applications, handling tickets, and ensuring smooth operation of IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for applications and resolve incidents reported by end users.
• Query and troubleshoot databases using SQL.
• Analyze logs and basic API interactions to diagnose issues.
• Manage tickets through tools such as Jira or ServiceNow.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams following Agile practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Approximately 1 year of experience in application or IT support.
• Good written and spoken English and Portuguese.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model (office and remote).

Required skills

• SQL for database queries.
• Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
• Experience with ticketing tools (Jira, ServiceNow or similar).
• Basic understanding of APIs and log analysis.
