Junior Accountant

About the role

Join PwC Services Portugal, a joint venture supporting PwC Luxembourg, as a Junior Accountant. You will work closely with Luxembourg teams to deliver accounting and tax compliance services for international clients, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with PwC Luxembourg colleagues to support accounting and tax services.
• Handle bookkeeping, preparation of annual accounts and financial statements.
• Prepare corporate tax and VAT returns.
• Produce regulatory and investor reports.
• Manage filing obligations with relevant authorities.
• Ensure accurate and timely deliverables for client satisfaction.
• Contribute to process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Final‑year student or graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in economics, accounting or management (specialisation in accounting or taxation).
• Motivated and interested in tax and accounting matters.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Flexible, independent and able to adapt to changing work patterns.
• Proficient in English; knowledge of French or German is a plus.

Required skills

• Familiarity with accounting tools such as SAP or Yardi.
• Strong competence in Microsoft Excel.
