Java Software Engineer

About the role

Dellent, a consulting firm specialized in information systems and telecommunications, is looking for a Java Software Engineer to join a global logistics project. The role is based in Porto and follows a hybrid work model, allowing you to collaborate on a platform that connects companies, markets, and people worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java backend services using Quarkus or Spring Boot.
• Implement and enhance front‑end features with Angular and TypeScript.
• Integrate messaging solutions using Kafka.
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications within the AWS ecosystem.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver data‑driven product features.

Required profile

• 3 to 6 years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong command of Java and modern Java frameworks.
• Proficiency in front‑end development with Angular and TypeScript.
• Experience with Kafka and AWS services.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
