Java Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Java Software Engineer to join our technology consulting team. You will work on innovative projects for clients across more than 20 countries, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of modern applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications using the Quarkus framework.
• Design, implement, and document RESTful APIs following OpenAPI standards.
• Collaborate on event‑driven solutions, preferably with Apache Kafka.
• Write comprehensive unit tests and ensure code quality through version control with GIT.
• Support observability and monitoring initiatives, including OpenTelemetry where applicable.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in Java and experience with Quarkus.
• Solid understanding of Clean Code, SOLID principles, and basic Domain Driven Design.
• Hands‑on experience with RESTful API development and OpenAPI.
• Familiarity with event‑driven architecture; Apache Kafka experience is a plus.
• Commitment to testing, version control, and continuous improvement.
