Java Back-End Developer (French Speaker)

About the role

We are looking for a Java Back-End Developer who is fluent in French and English to join our consulting team. You will work on high‑performance financial applications, applying best‑in‑class development practices within a sports‑inspired performance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java back‑end services using Spring, Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Build and consume RESTful and SOAP web services, ensuring robust API design.
• Write complex SQL queries, optimise relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and work with NoSQL stores such as MongoDB, Cassandra and Redis.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI or Travis CI and manage source control with Git.
• Perform performance tuning, caching (Ehcache, Memcached, Redis) and security hardening of web applications.
• Develop micro‑services architectures and deploy solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver financial products while adhering to regulatory and compliance standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Java Back‑End Developer or in a similar role.
• Fluent in English and French (mandatory).
• Experience working with financial products and an understanding of financial regulations.
