IT Support Specialist – L1/L2 Desktop Support

About the role

Aubay Portugal is looking for an IT Support Specialist to provide first‑ and second‑level assistance for a wide range of hardware and software assets. You will work on‑site, supporting users across multiple sectors and ensuring the reliability of critical IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive hardware and software support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and audio‑visual equipment.
• Install, reinstall, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows, macOS, iOS) and related applications.
• Use ServiceNow to manage incidents and service requests, maintain SLA compliance, and keep asset inventories up to date.
• Assist with corporate networking and Wi‑Fi troubleshooting, follow IT security policies, and participate in disaster‑recovery activities.
• Create and maintain knowledge‑base articles and technical documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional IT support experience (L1/L2 desktop support).
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Alignment with corporate values of integrity, teamwork, and task prioritisation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows, macOS, and iOS environments.
• Experience using ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
• Hardware troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, mobile and AV devices.
• Basic networking and Wi‑Fi troubleshooting knowledge.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation.
