IT Support Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join Wysupp’s Porto office. The role combines hands‑on infrastructure management with user support and IT procurement, ensuring our retail and supply‑chain solutions run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, manage and support servers, storage, virtualization and cloud resources, handling availability, backups and patching.
• Design, maintain and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls and QoS.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services – Azure AD, Exchange Online, Intune, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive – including user lifecycle, licensing and security policies.
• Gather technical requirements, evaluate vendors and coordinate IT acquisitions.
• Provide advice on equipment, licenses and services, ensuring compliance with budgets and standards.
• Manage user onboarding/offboarding, access rights and account hygiene across internal systems.
• Oversee asset receipt, tagging, inventory lifecycle, warranties and support contracts.
• Ensure service quality by following SLAs and organizational standards.
• Implement security policies, detect and report violations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of IT support experience.
• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications or Computer Engineering preferred (not mandatory).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for IT purchasing.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• High level of commitment, proactivity and adaptability.

• Operating systems: Windows, Linux, macOS.
• Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Microsoft 365 administration (Azure AD, Exchange Online, Intune, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• PowerShell scripting.
• Virtualization and cloud platforms.
• Network design and support (LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, QoS).
