Software Engineer – Java Microservices

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer to design and build scalable, cloud‑native Java microservices for an international product company serving the automotive finance, leasing, fleet management and mobility industries.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable microservices based on domain‑driven design principles.
• Translate business domain models into robust, cloud‑native microservice architectures.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
• Develop high‑quality software using CI/CD pipelines, containerisation and automated testing.
• Apply Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, high‑performance enterprise solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Backend Software Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Java 17 (Java 21 a plus) and microservices design.
• Professional fluency in English.

Required skills

• Java (17/21), RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL and SQL.
• Git, Maven, Jenkins or GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
• Docker, Kubernetes, and knowledge of Kafka.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases, Angular and Postman.
