IT Service Operations Support Technician

About the role

BV TECH Group is expanding its team in Lisbon with an IT Service Operations Support Technician. The role focuses on ensuring the stability and security of client infrastructure by responding to emergencies, maintaining systems, and providing first‑line technical assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Emergency Management – react quickly to incidents and restore services.
• Maintenance and Updates – assist in the upkeep and patching of security devices and software.
• Technical Support – resolve basic infrastructure issues, including system restoration and hardware problems.
• Reporting and Recording – document monitoring activities and actions taken for audit and follow‑up.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar IT support role.
• Degree or diploma in a technical or scientific discipline.
• Strong command of English.
• Solid knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
