IT Operations Engineer (DevOps & Production)

About the role

As an IT Operations Engineer you will be a key stakeholder throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that production, infrastructure, monitoring, and security requirements are embedded from design to deployment and ongoing operations. You will collaborate closely with Agile teams, developers, infrastructure specialists, and production support to boost operational efficiency, reliability, and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in defining and validating technical solutions and ensure operational requirements are reflected in project planning.
• Promote adoption of resilient, monitored, and secure products and services.
• Support development teams to accelerate and secure delivery, implementing infrastructure, automation, and operational user stories.
• Facilitate solution deployments, release activities, and maintain production and non‑production environments.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and service supervision solutions.
• Identify operational risks, bottlenecks, and infrastructure issues, proposing mitigation plans.
• Contribute to incident management, disaster recovery, backup, and continuity activities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date operational and technical documentation and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 2–3+ years of experience in IT Operations, DevOps, Production Engineering or similar roles.
• Professional English communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.

Required skills

• Strong Linux and Windows administration.
• Hands‑on Docker experience.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and OpenShift environments.
• Experience with Helm.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability platforms.
• Understanding of IT risk and cyber‑security principles.
