Internal Auditor

About the role

We are looking for an Internal Auditor to join the Audit HUB in Lisbon, supporting Volkswagen Group Services worldwide. The role focuses on cross‑functional audits, compliance investigations and continuous improvement of audit processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform worldwide cross‑functional audits at external business partners and Volkswagen Group entities, primarily within the Compliance Management System.
• Conduct special investigations based on whistleblower reports.
• Promote continuous improvement of internal audit processes and enhance audit tools.
• Build and maintain a network with peers in the Internal Audit community and relevant Group functions.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a comparable field (Master preferred).
• Experience in internal audit or compliance investigations.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CA, CPA, CFE or CISA is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; additional languages (French, Russian) are advantageous.
• High integrity, independence, analytical thinking and resilience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
