About the role

The Customer Service Engineer will provide on‑site installation, maintenance and repair of NCR Voyix equipment for clients in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. The role ensures operational continuity, fast incident resolution and high customer satisfaction across a range of retail and restaurant technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of customer incidents, meeting SLA commitments.
• Diagnose, repair and replace components in POS terminals, self‑service kiosks, servers, handheld devices and related peripherals.
• Install new hardware or perform upgrades according to the Statement of Work.
• Prepare installation sites, including cabling, testing and adjustments.
• Comply with training and certification requirements, which may involve work at height and use of portable electric tools.
• Address customer inquiries, escalating when necessary, and maintain clear communication channels.
• Perform preventive maintenance, periodic diagnostics and repairs.
• Maintain accurate inventories, asset records and generate timely service reports.
• Follow shift patterns that can include weekends and night hours to meet client needs.
• Achieve defined KPIs while prioritising safety, quality and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Completed secondary education or equivalent experience.
• Basic computer knowledge (Windows operating system and Microsoft Office).
• Hands‑on experience supporting and maintaining PC hardware.
• Ability to work independently, solve problems quickly and meet deadlines.
