Information Security Analyst (Mid‑Level)

About the role

Mindera is looking for a mid‑level Information Security Analyst to support its global security program. You will monitor the infrastructure, manage vulnerabilities, respond to incidents and help improve security procedures across all locations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and fine‑tune detection rules for the XDR platform and investigate security events.
• Run and analyse vulnerability scans, report findings and coordinate remediation.
• Provide security guidance to employees, contribute to security guidelines and integrate threat modelling into development cycles.
• Assist in incident containment and recovery, produce reports and apply lessons learned using frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.
• Automate repetitive tasks, create scripts and use Infrastructure as Code principles to integrate security tools.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in two or more security domains.
• Strong desire to learn and stay up‑to‑date with security best practices.
• Ability to work within European time zones with significant overlap with the team.

Required skills

• Experience with XDR platforms (e.g., Palo Alto, CrowdStrike) and building detection rules.
• Proficiency with vulnerability management tools such as Tenable or Qualys.
• Scripting/automation skills in Python or Bash.
• Solid knowledge of Linux, macOS and Windows operating systems.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and change‑management processes.
• Understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
