HR Manager – Strategic & Operational Role

About the role

Street Smash Burgers is expanding its Human Resources function and seeks an experienced HR Manager to lead both strategic initiatives and day‑to‑day operations. You will partner with leadership to shape people policies, ensure compliance, and support a fast‑growing restaurant brand.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute recruitment and selection for operational and corporate positions.
• Manage HR administration, including hires, terminations, and employee data updates.
• Run the monthly payroll in close collaboration with Finance.
• Oversee employee benefits such as meal allowances, insurance, and incentives.
• Monitor compliance with Portuguese labor legislation.
• Administer the Factorial HR platform, guarantee data accuracy, and produce monthly reports.
• Support training, development, and performance‑management programs.
• Drive engagement, culture, and internal communication initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources Management, Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of generalist HR experience, preferably in restaurants, hospitality or retail.
• Proven experience in payroll processing and HR administration.
• Strong knowledge of Portuguese labor legislation.
• Fluent Portuguese and high‑level English.
